Steve Jessop

Steve Jessop

Born West London. Based Near Maidstone, Kent. Married with 3 children.

Steve conceived and jointly-founded Quantum with Jeff Downs in 1992. He has been a central figure in the positioning and growth of the business since this time which included getting to a six figure booked revenue position, from scratch, in the first 5 months.

Steve has extensive sales and marketing experience (mostly in high value business services) in blue chip and niche organisations where he has been a proven performer and leader in selling, major account development and all levels of sales management. Before jointly-founding Quantum he was Sales & Marketing Director of a well established IT Services Group.

Jeff Downs

Jeff Downs

Born London. Based in Chichester. Married with 2 children.

Since Quantum’s formation in 1992 Jeff has been instrumental in winning new business in markets as diverse as banking, petrochemicals, advertising and technology.

Very much Quantum’s senior ‘technician’, Jeff has a well deserved reputation as a high quality consultant in all matters of planning for and managing sales success in the business-to-business arena. He is also a top class front line sales and sales management coach who can lead by example.

Polly Anderson

Polly Anderson

Born London. Based in Croydon.

Polly has a varied, multi-discipline background which includes front line exposure in both retail and business-to-business sectors. She has secured and developed Quantum’s clients in several markets and has worked effectively as a consultant in salesforce assessment, 1:1 sales coaching, sales and sales management training and major account planning.

Polly is the director responsible for Quantum’s UK mid market-facing sales improvement consultancy, Salespunch which she successfully progressed from proof-of-concept stage in 2007.

Brian Andrews

Brian Andrews

Born Manchester. Based in Beckenham, Kent.  Married with two grown-up children.

Brian had great front line and sales leadership experience in the b2b space prior to joining a leading sales development consultancy in the mid 80’s where he worked in Europe and North America as a consultant, Group Director and Joint UK MD.

Brian is a formidable stand-up presenter well known for his meticulous preparation and dynamic style. His work with Quantum’s clients includes: sales coaching and training, account planning methodology implementation, sales leadership training and customer service strategy consulting.

Neil Donnelly

Neil Donnelly

Born Wales. Based in Farnham, Surrey.  Married with one child.

Neil is one of Quantum’s most acclaimed management coaches and a Master Practitioner in Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP).

He has worked in the UK, Africa, and Asia-Pacific in capital equipment, financial services and business consultancy markets.

For 10 years in the UK he worked for a prominent sales development consultancy where he progressed to become a Group Director. He re-located to Australia in 2001 to become a Key Client Director for a player in the same space.

Neil returned to the UK in 2005 and has worked with Quantum’s clients in travel, construction, technology and professional services sectors.

Mike O'Riordan

Mike O'Riordan

Born Essex. Based in Upminster, Essex.  Married with two children and one grandchild.

Mike is a qualified accountant who got bitten by the sales & marketing bug in hs early 30’s. He achieved great success and several high achievement awards in the IT industry becoming Marketing Director of Unisys UK in the late 80’s, and later a director of ITL and Sales & Marketing Director of Acorn Computers Ltd.

More recently he was instrumental in the fast growth and eventual sale of IT services company Technosys to ITNet in 1999.

Annemieke Hartman

Annemieke Hartman

Born and educated in Holland (Dutch Citizen). Based in Hythe, Kent.

Has lived in Australia and the UK - Permanently based in the UK since the early 90's
English, Dutch, German and French speaker

Annemieke has been in senior client-facing positions within big name international organisations in hospitality, manufacturing and business services. As an entrepreneur she also has a financial interest in several successful smaller businesses.

She has worked for Quantum’s clients in Dutch, English, French and German on a wide range of sales and management subjects.

Henri Aebischer

Henri Aebischer

Born Fribourg, Switzerland. Based in Thames Ditton, Surrey.  Married with two children.

Henri is a Swiss national living in the UK. He has worked in the IT industry for more than 30 years – 15 of them with Apple Computers in the US, Paris and England.

He was responsible for the launch of the Lisa system which was the predecessor to the Apple Macintosh, and, as Head of Apple’s Corporate Technology Services division, he widened the market focus of the Cray Supercomputer and greatly increased its productivity. He was also Global Head of Marketing for Apple’s network products.

Henri capitalises on his marketing experience by working with Quantum’s clients in the business-to-business space in several languages. He is especially adept at making the connection between marketing ‘theory’ and sales implementation.

Johannes Basten

Johannes Basten

Born Tübingen, Germany. Based in Congleton, Cheshire.  Married with two children.

Johannes is a German national, based in the UK, who divides much of his professional time between both countries.

He trained as an accountant and moved into senior general management roles in manufacturing and information technology which included the establishment of distribution channels for a leading-edge virtual reality product.

He has experience of direct and channel sales and marketing and has sold into retail, health and construction sectors.

He is well known amongst Quantum’s clients for his sense of humour – generating much amusement on the subject of national stereotypes.
