Colin Perks


Colin moved from management trainee to book buyer at WH Smith before joining Granada Publishing as a salesperson, initially in the South West of the UK and later establishing himself in East Anglia.

He joined Photo Precision in the mid 1970’s, the UK market-leader in tourist-related stationery. He moved from Sales Office Manager to National Sales Manager with Area and Regional management positions in-between. In each case his teams were ‘Chairman’s Trophy’ winners.

In 1983 he joined the world’s leading sales and sales management training consultancy and over a 4 year period built and developed a substantial six figure client base in a wide range of industries selling a range of ‘off-the-shelf’ and bespoke sales & sales management development programmes.
Colin was later promoted to Regional Director and recruited, trained and led a successful team of professional consultants in the UK for several years.

Colin has worked with Quantum’s clients since the late 90’s in sectors as diverse as travel and leisure, catering, telecoms, financial and professional services, manaufacturing and logistics.

He is well known for his highly motivational, dynamic personal approach and has received much acclaim for his ability to help clients to implement best practice in selling sales management and account management.
