Since Quantum’s formation in 1992 Jamie has been instrumental in client retention of large organisations across a wide spectrum of the private sector. Jamie has achieved his successes through a combination of applying his professional ability, skills and hard work – doing his best at what he is best at.
Jamie started his career as Graduate Trainee with Cadbury Schweppes in their confectionery division where he held a number of sales positions.
He initiated his consultancy career in 1980, spending five years in recruitment, selection and search.
He has subsequently become a training and behavioural change specialist, initially with a global sales training organisation where spent a further five years, designing and delivering training programmes in the UK, mainland Europe and the USA. The experience gained provided a platform on which to build a consultancy and training business as well as being a trusted Quantum Partner.
Jamie’s focus is on increasing the performance of individuals, groups and teams: recognising that training is an enabler for driving behavioural change and improving results. Central to his activity is client acquisition, retention and growth. The three key elements of this activity are customer service, leadership and sales: the former, in his opinion, having the greatest potential to produce a significant return on investment.
