Gatwick Diamond Business has for over 40 years been at the heart of the Gatwick region helping to shape and grow businesses and to provide education and networking opportunities for all its members. It is, by far, the region’s premier networking organisation.

It’s challenging times ahead for companies and people operating in the Gatwick Diamond region. The pandamic has hit the Aviation and Hospitality sectors more than most. With Gatwick Airport itself a huge employer, not to mention the knock-on effect down the supply chain, high unemployement is expected over the coming years.

Jeff has an affinity with the region having bought his first house in Crawley in 1978 and then bringing up his family in the borough of Reigate and Banstead. A long standing member of gdb and voted in as a recent addition to the Executive Council, Jeff was keen to take the Chair role to see what he can do to help companies and individuals to face the challenges that lie ahead. He looks forward to listening to the needs of companies of all sizes and entrepreneurs and investors as well as liaising with business policy makers, government, local authorities and other influencers to help grow the region out of the crisis. As Jeff very aptly puts it: “If opportunity doesn’t knock, build a door.”
